Senator Sharp, Cochair, moved for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 3156. Senator Sharp called the Senate. The call was satisfied. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 314(FIN) An Act relating to the Alaska marine highway system and to municipal feeder vessel authorities and port authorities was adopted and read the second time. Senator Duncan offered Amendment No. 1 : Delete Section 1, and insert a new Section 1 to read: (b) The long-range plan and revisions and updates of the plan shall fully consider and incorporate, where appropriate, the operation of feeder or local ferry service by authorities established under AS 29.35.605 or 29.35.750. 1998-05-07 Senate Journal Page 3842 SB 314 Senator Duncan moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
